Key responsibilities of this role include:
Performing routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests under minimal supervisionInsuring accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control programPerforming instrument function checks and preventative maintenance according to the department’s policies and proceduresMaintaining records and statistical data according to regulative requirementsTraining new employees and students on laboratory policies and proceduresAssisting as needed in all laboratory areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care
Key qualifications to be considered for this include:
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related fieldASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred
