Requirements:

Graduated from an accredited program or college/university (required)ARRT Certification (required)ARRT MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) CertificationBLS (Basic Life Support) (required)

Responsibilities:

Performs routine scanning procedures for the MRI unit. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures.  Ensures a high quality of images produced.  Responsible for availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned areas.  

*** May be cross-trained in other specialties.  

*** The technologist may be part of the on call pool.

**The MRI Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations.
