Summary:  Under the direction of the administrative Director of Radiology and the Radiologists, the Lead MRI technologist coordinates and supervises the activities and personnel involved in the MRI Department.  Performs a variety of technical procedures applying a prescribed magnetic field to obtain high quality images for interpretation by a radiologist and fulfills responsibilities as an employee of St. Joseph Health Services of Rhode Island.  Functions as a resource person providing technical guidance and instruction to customers and staff.
