What the MRI Technologist will Do:
Utilizes MRI equipment to perform a variety of examinations.Properly positions patients.Administers specific medications as directed by the Radiologist or other physician.Assists Radiologist in performing routine and/or special procedures.Assesses patient’s condition to determine appropriate procedure and technique.Provides instruction to x-ray students.Explains exam and procedures and acquires patient history.Monitors safety and comfort of patient.What the MRI Technologist will Need:
Completion of American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) approved Radiologic Technology Program, or an MRI specific curriculum.American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification, or board eligible within 6 months of hire.Must be ARRT(MR) certified within 2 years of hire.Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within three months of hire.Two years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.Preferred: One year of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist.What the MRI Technologist will Work:
32 hours per weekFriday: 12am-8am & Saturday and Sunday: 8pm-8amWeekend premium pay (25%) plus shift differentialHighlights:
