Get to know us better at **www.nestle.com** **Join Nestlé Team and be a Force For Good!** We are currently looking for a MRP Planner (Materials Requirement Planning) to join our Balıkesir Factory team. Location: **Balıkesir** Type of contract: Permanent As a **MRP Planner** , you will have the following responsibilities; + Manage, guide and develop Supply Chain functions at the factory in order to meet production at required performance levels and at optimized costs. + Supporting detailed production planning and scheduling, managing raw and pack inventory levels as well as material requirement planning, operations systems and people management in an operations setting. + Ensure implemenation and compliance to Nestlé Supply Chain & Procurement standards and best practices. + Monitor material availabilty to fulfill requirements within the agreed cost boundaries and alert the stakeholders about potential issues (Shortages, Ageeing, Write Offs); monitor supply signals through the use of MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities are correct and finally creating purchase orders and ensuring their fulfillment by the supplier; manage exceptions to the execution process and escalate when required. + Create an optimised replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18 months horizon that ensures supply of material to production whilst ensuring that the working capital targets for raw and packaging materials are met. + Manage directly with the defined suppliers the delivery of materials according to storage limitations.This includes creating, sending, confirming, receiving, investigating errors and discrepancies on blocked or parked invoice and handling all exceptions/issues in those operations, including claims management. + Define the stock policy and management approach for each material within the portfolio and align with procurement. + Review and maintain all relevant master data in SAP, including new materials. + Identify issues, opportunities and problems concerning material supply and demand for raw and packaging materials for the factory within the coming 18 month horizon. + Manage Start and End of sourcing changes, product launches/relaunches and ensure raw and packaging materials availability for sourced SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit). + Ensure excellent supplier relationships and involve suppliers in Supply Chain improvement exercises that create shared value for both Nestlé and their suppliers. + Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues with poor supplier performance (on time, quantity & quality) back to the suppliers with the support of the European Purchasing Team. + Maintain, promote and develop high health and safety standards and to carry out all duties and specific responsibilities in compliance with Health and Safety Policies and Procedures. **Which profile are we looking for?** + University Degree + Min. 2 years experience in at least one of the following areas: Factory logistics, Detailed Production Scheduling, Materials Handling + Good knowledge of warehouse and Inventory management + Good Knowledge of Office and SAP/ IT systems + Experience and knowledge in Warehouse and Inventory management, transportation and 3rd party and supplier management + Inbound materials management: production planning, material handling, stocks management. + Knowledge of LEAN and value stream processes + Knowledge of Product Lifecycle process and Factory Master Data Management + Excellent command of English + Living in Balıkesir or willing to move to Balıkesir **What are our employee community values?** Safety, quality, compliance and respect are pillars for our community existence.
