Material Requirement Planning Controller - Buy

As a Material Requirement Planning Controller - Buy for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role in the preparation, planning, issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production.

Key Accountabilities:
Managing incoming components and parts based on Rolls-Royce’s master production schedule, shop load and inventory requirement
Working closely with suppliers to confirm material demand, availability, and delivery dates to support the Naval team
Coordinating interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc.
Scheduling and expediting the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders
Working within Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) system to ensure data integrity and compliance of supplier commitments
Basic Requirements:
Associate’s degree in with +4 years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;
Bachelor's degree in with 2+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;
Master's degree with 0+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing OR;
JD/PhD with 0+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing
In lieu of degree 6+ years of work experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing

Systems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience
Experience with project management

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. It’s a locally managed and flexed informal discretionary arrangement.
