Job Title: PowerShell Scripting Associate

Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The PowerShell Scripting Specialist will be responsible for automating and streamlining IT processes, managing system configurations, and enhancing operational efficiency through the development and implementation of PowerShell scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

Script Development: Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency across various IT functions.System Administration: Assist in the management and configuration of Windows-based systems and applications using PowerShell.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve script-related issues and system errors, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, including network, security, and application departments, to implement automation solutions.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for scripts, processes, and procedures for future reference.Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and security, using PowerShell scripts to generate reports and alerts.Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of PowerShell scripts and automation tools.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and related technologies.Experience with system administration, including Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365.Familiarity with other scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.Experience:Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to automate tasks and manage systems using PowerShell.Experience in a corporate IT environment is preferred.Should have 1-3 years of experience for Associate level and 3-8 years for Senior Associate level.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Having the below certifications, will be an added advantage:Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator AssociateMicrosoft Certified: DevOps Engineer ExpertMicrosoft Certified: Power Platform FundamentalsCompTIA Server+Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
