Job description

Infosys is seeking MS SQL Database Administration SME responsible and accountable for operational support and delivery of MS SQL Database Administration services, requires hands-on experience with Installation, Configuration, Maintenance, Administration & high availability techniques like Mirroring/Replication/Clustering/Always-on.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Brentwood TN or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project location
• At least 4 years of Information Technoloy experience.
• At least 6 years of Experience with Database Administration for MSSQL Server
• Provide global production Database Administration support for the MS SQL Servers versions of 2008/2012/2014/2016 etc.
• Install & build latest MS SQL Servers in Standalone Servers & Clustered Servers
• Configure & Support of High availability techniques like Replication, Mirroring, Clustering & Always on
• User Access Management (logins/users creation, password reset, roles, permissions etc.)

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
