The Microsoft Service Advisory Group Operations Specialist will manage team projects to ensure that they meet the agreed scope, time, and budget through project management disciplines, including but not limited to planning, organizing, communicating, leading, and controlling. Continuous monitoring will be required to ensure that deliverables are performed on time, every time, to meet customer expectations and meet or exceed the SHI quality standards.
The Operation Specialist’s role aims to simplify complex MSAG engagements by planning, scheduling, communicating, and documenting all aspects of the project while working closely with all internal and external stakeholders to manage each engagement's expectations, scope, and direction.
This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location as determined by management.

Manage complex MSAG projectsTrack and coordinate multiple complex customer engagements simultaneouslyCreate customer proposals and SOWsBilling for consulting engagementsUnderstand the customer objectives, compose tasks, and monitor the overall health of each engagement they participate inCommunicate engagement progress to customer stakeholdersEnsure deliveries are in line with the agreed-upon timelines, up to the internal SHI MSAG standards, and fully meeting customer requirementsKeep up-to-date with industry practices and standards to understand customers' drivers and engagement methodologiesDocument key MSAG operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project managementAssist in coordinating meetings, conference calls, and project communication, as required to drive project completionAct as the primary point of contact and escalationPrepare and present project kick-off presentation during initial calls with customersMonitor tasks and any occurring issues, as well as notify project stakeholders of any impacting events on the project performanceMaintain engagement calendar(s); proactively provide notification of upcoming milestones and deliverablesRecord, prepare, and/or edit meeting minutes for all project meetings, conference calls, presentations, and other similar activitiesCreate and distribute internal KPI and engagement status reports to management, including opportunity pipeline and P&LDocument and standardize any new MSAG service methodologies and requirements as the department extends its service offerings Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience 3 years of experience in project management Experience with software licensing, general IT infrastructure, and project management best practices Required Skills In-depth knowledge of key operational policies, processes, and methodologies applicable to project managementStrong experience in coordinating and managing small, medium, and large-scale projectsExcellent Microsoft Project, Visio, and SharePoint proficiencyExcellent Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiencyClient-oriented, professional services mindsetAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent research skills and the ability to manage detailsExcellent analytical skillsExcellent organization and time management skillsAbility to stay self-motivated and self-directedExceptional communication, presentation, and written skillsWillingness to adapt to changing business and organizational prioritiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-performance team environmentAbility to work with deadlines Unique Requirements Infrequent travel (less than 10%) Additional Information The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
