**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB** To provide strategic support to achieve the business objectives of medical reimbursed nutrition business. To be the primary communicator of Abbott science with healthcare professionals as peer to peer scientific expert. Combine strong business acumen, market awareness, as well as clinical expertise to serve as a conduit of information to multiple cross functional internal stakeholders. **MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES** Works with internal stakeholder to develop and execute a plan designed to support and meet shared business objectives Inputs and maintains internal reports as it relates to activities in the area of responsibility Prepares the marketplace in new areas of interest, which includes creating awareness and relationships for Abbott in the medical community Builds and manages relationships with external key opinion leaders aligned to business needs and manages the KOL engagement plan and KPIs Serves as a scientific resource to commercial partners as appropriate to support activities such as medical/nutrition congress staffing, advisory boards, and training intiatives Supports the medical and commercial team with any other ad hoc activities that are required by the business **ACCOUNTABILITY** The MSL is accountable for developing and communicating clinical and scientific information, programs and presentations. The MSL will support corporate needs by meeting targeted goals relevant to specific key opinion leaders; and supporting clinical and commercial business partners. The MSL provides support for clinical initiatives, executes a strategic plan and team tactical plan supporting clinical and commercial partner needs, meets aligned project deadlines and contributes to affiliate plans and goals.
