JR59859 MTB Automation APC EngineerAs a R2R process control engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. in Manassas, VA you will support the manufacturing areas with development and implementation of Run-to-Run (R2R) control solutions and apply advance process control methodologies to improve process capability. This includes collaborating with Process Engineering and Process Integration teams to develop optimized control methodologies.
Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities include -
* Knowledge of Process Control, E3 Application and Micron IS Systems
* Understands key process control concepts and can use them to deploy R2R control solutions in manufacturing areas.
* Possesses knowledge of E3 software to develop existing R2R strategies.
* Maintenance of R2R strategies to implement enhancements and bug fixes.
* Understand and follow R2R Best Known Methods (BKM's), Business Rules (BR's), and Change Management procedures.
* Perform statistical data analysis to correlate reduction in variation and process capability (Cpk) improvement on statistical process control (SPC) chart from R2R deployment.
* Meets with customers to identify processes requiring R2R controller deployment on new processes, part types and during product ramp up/down.
* Maintains controller documentation, troubleshooting and corrective action guides for R2R controllers for use by various levels of responders - R2R engineers, process engineers, and shift engineers.
* Accountable for area level metric performance and troubleshooting
* Involve in automated solutions to minimize manual touchpoints
* Provide cross area coverage support for deployed process control solutions, including on-call support as required.
* Provide support to manufacturing process area during excursion reviews, weekly engineering meetings and area level process improvement projects to promote and maximize benefits of R2R process solutions
* Possesses advanced knowledge of E3 software and Micron IS systems to assist in troubleshooting communication issues between E3 R2R and other IS systems.
WW Alignment & Sharing
* Participates and contributes in WW R2R projects and area alignment meetings. Shares R2R software bugs, strategy issues with other Fabs.
* Works with WW fabs counterparts to implement enhancements and bug fixes in golden controllers and global functions and strategies.
* Testing and deployment of new controller versions and always ensure alignment between R2R controller versions in local fab and golden environment.
Training & Mentoring
* Works with area trainers in developing end user training documentation for R2R controllers.
* Updates and delivers area level R2R controller training to end users.
* Creates training material on R2R theory, implementation and enhanced, when needed, to R2R, process and process integration engineers.
