Systems Administrator Senior

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program.  GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training.  Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems.  Establish /maintain training and exercise networks. Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems.Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.Sets up administrator, user and service accounts.Maintains system documentation.Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates requisition and installation in accordance with local policies and procedures.Develops and implements backup recovery.Monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.May program in an administrative language.Develops and implements application testing strategies and document results.Provides advice and training to end-users.Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.Maintains and provides the guidance and troubleshooting for the hyper-converged infrastructure architecture enclaves within the network boundary.Supports and leads the STIG and RMF updates for all systems within the network enclave boundary.   Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BS/BA in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experienceRequired Experience: 5+ years of related experience; military experience preferredRequired Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in system administration and support; Comprehensive knowledge of the associated hardware, software and equipment; Experience in virtual computing environment; Experience utilizing DHCP and managing an active directory; Experience with ATAK/WINTAK; Required experience with HBSS, Dell VRTX, VMWare, VSphere, VCenter; Working knowledge and understanding of RedHat, SQL software and ACASSecurity Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required with ability to obtain TS/SCI ClearanceRequired Skills and Abilities: Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II certification (SEC+; NET+); Candidate must have or be able to obtain a certificate or certification meeting evolving computing environment requirements: Microsoft Windows 10 (or newer); Microsoft Server 2012 (or newer)Superb communication skills; Must be able to perform with minimal guidanceLocation: On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
