Job Description:

As part of PayPal’s technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing web applications to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. The role spans from lead architecture design to mentor and coach junior engineers, working closely with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams to drive technical innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and solution discussions with local and global stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality mini-program applications.Design and develop critical mini-program systems (both internal and client-facing), including building and maintaining reusable frameworks to ensure scalability and maintainability.Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UED designers, end-users, and framework users to provide optimal solutions that meet business and user needs.Drive engineering excellence through CI/CD and automation practices, ensuring efficient and reliable development processes.Mentor and coach junior engineers, own code quality, and conduct code reviews to uphold high development standards.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams globally to align on solution design and implementation, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.

What do you need to bring-

Essential Skills:

Minimum of 8+ years' experience in developing web application.Proficiency in at least one front-end framework such as React/Vue.Solid understanding of the WeChat Mini Program framework, including WXML, WXSS, and JavaScript.Experience with native(iOS/Android) mobile app development is highly desirableFamiliarity with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., Taro, uni-app) is a plusGood understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.Proficiency in English is preferred for international communication.

Desirable Skills:

Hybrid/mobile experience will be a big plus.Front end Architecture/Performance Tuning/Safety Optimization will be a big plus.Innovative, passionate, and teamworking. Start-up spirited.
