**Overview** PAC MTS III, Software **Responsibilities** · Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Companion App Ground Service. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the application. · Implement, test, and debug Python-based services in a cloud-based environment using AWS. · Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system management tasks. · Troubleshoot and optimize existing code for better performance and functionality. · Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all deliverables. Key Skill Requirements: · Strong expertise in Python programming. · Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture. · Proficiency in Bash scripting for system automation and process streamlining. · Familiarity with Redhat Package Manager (RPM) for package building and management. · Knowledge of C++ for potential cross-platform integrations. · Understanding and experience with Nginx for web server configuration and optimization. **Qualifications** Education/Experience Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field is preferred. · 3 - 8 years software development experience.
