Summary of Responsibilities: Candidate is responsible for basic, predictive, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe, efficient and continuous plant operations.

What You Will Do:

Perform and document advanced electrical and mechanical diagnostics and repairs on production equipment, perform and document routine preventative maintenance on production equipment and maintain fluid levels and change filters in machinery, document usage, and monitor inventory.Operate forklifts and aerial lifts as required, including pre-operational inspection and log and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all areas in the facility.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area, maintain and document chemical concentration levels in industrial parts washers, maintain non-hazardous waste collection and storage areas to include barrels, tote, solid waste hoppers.Prepare waste material containers for shipment per EHS guideline, including proper labeling and documentation, operate and maintain fluids filtration equipment and clean and wipe down machinery and remove the buildup of process swarf, grit, and fragments in machines and tanks.Report defects, damages, and malfunctions of any kind to the supervisor and completion of Machine Tool Services Technician RequirementsComply with all corporate policies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules (OSHA) while working and adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment.May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.

Qualifications You Must Have:

HS Diploma/GEDU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contractAdvanced mechanical and electrical aptitude, position requires advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Power Point) required.Proficient with use of hand tools and equipment.Understanding of Lean manufacturing principlesStrong written & verbal communication skills.The ability to work from heights, including ladders and aerial lifts and the ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.The ability to work in awkward positions for extended periods.Good manual dexterity.The ability to remain focused and alert during tasks.Strong problem-solving skills.Working knowledge of CNC controls and Cartesian Coordinate system.The willingness and ability to train junior technicians.
