Credence has an immediate need for an experienced MuleSoft Architect to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Credence provides worldwide support to federal agencies, with this role primarily based at its headquarters in Tyson's, VA.
DLA's operational mission involves managing and delivering logistics transactions across DOD components and participating agencies. The Defense Automated Addressing System (DAAS) acts as the central translator, standardizing logistics data to ensure seamless communication between systems. MuleSoft Architect will lead the implementation and sustainment of a MuleSoft Anypoint API Gateway solution to enhance DAAS’s data interoperability and processing capabilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Serve as the technical lead and architect for a team of 15 developers, providing architectural direction and strategy for API interface development.Design and develop software-based API interfaces using MuleSoft Anypoint API Gateway to facilitate seamless data exchange within client ecosystem.Utilize web-based technologies such as Java, HTML, .NET, AngularJS, JavaScript, SOAP, REST API, and mobile development to build robust API solutions.Oversee integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of MuleSoft applications.Ensure compliance with security standards and optimize API performance within the federal infrastructure.Provide insights into best practices for software development and delivery, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively.Help establish effective organizational structures and governance models. Education, Requirements and QualificationsEducation: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of technology transformation experience, including implementation experience with integration or middleware solutions and/or API Management Solutions.3+ years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect and/or digital architectMuleSoft Platform experience is a plusExpertise in business process modeling notation (BPMN) tools for process automation.Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.Experience in agile and hybrid low-code application development, leveraging JIRA for task management.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.Coaching, mentoring, and guidance skills for hiring and developing resources.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders (Architects to engineering teams).Ability to develop appropriate materials and engage in Q&A with customers.Proven results in leading customer and/or partner success in:Integration solution architectureEnterprise architectureDevelopmentTest/release management strategiesChange managementDesigning solutions that meet customer needsTrack record of continuous learning and leading projects that push technology capabilities.
