Duties / Responsibilities:

Design Application Programming Interface (API) layers, data model and API specifications. Develop APIs using Mulesoft platform components, including API Manager, CloudHub, AnyPoint Studio, Data weave and AnyPoint Messaging Queue (MQ). Manage the development solution features following MuleSoft development best practices Ensure solution performance and system scalability. Test and improve the performance of APIs in terms of response time, reliability and resource usage. Design and implement comprehensive error-handling strategies for applications. Drive continuous integration and delivery of APIs using DevOps tools. Configure and deploy Mule applications to CloudHub and/or single or clusters of customer-hosted Mule runtimes. Implementing and consuming (Representational State Transfer) REST and (Single Object Access Protocol) SOAP web services. Create and configure flows, sub flows, and flow processing strategies for reusability and performance. Troubleshoot complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science (Master’s degree preferred). 7 years of professional experience in information technology (IT) operations, programming, systems/software development or another IT related field. Software Development experience. Proven experience working with Mulesoft AnyPoint Platform as developer. Experience with implementing Application Programming Interface (API) security patterns. Knowledge of Agile Development and Continuous Integration\Continuous Development tools. Experience with Policy, Logging, Auditing and Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting. Experience with AMDOC’s and ServiceNow a plus. Industry-related experience preferred.
