How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

The Multi-Agent Workflow Automation Intern will work at the intersection of engineering, operations, and artificial intelligence to support the development and optimization of complex, multi-agent workflow systems. This role involves hands-on coding in Python, integration with the Microsoft Azure technology stack, and the exploration of advanced AI-driven methodologies—particularly within the Magnetic-One platform. The intern will also engage with operational considerations, such as equipment optimization, process improvement, and systems analysis. By blending technical proficiency with operational insight, the intern will contribute to creating scalable, efficient, and intelligent workflow solutions that enhance productivity and drive continuous improvement.

This role will be based in Sunnyvale, CA.

You Will Make an Impact By

Technical Development & Integration: Implement and test Python-based components for multi-agent workflows. Contribute to JavaScript codebases where beneficial, particularly for front-end integration or automation scripts. Leverage Microsoft Azure services to deploy, monitor, and scale AI-driven workflows. Integrate the Magentic-One platform to establish and refine multi-agent system behaviors. AI & Machine Learning Application: Incorporate Large Language Models (LLMs) into workflow automation for improved decision-making and efficiency. Utilize machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) to develop, train, and evaluate intelligent agents. Conduct experiments to improve agent coordination, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities. Systems & Process Optimization: Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential areas for process improvement. Employ systems thinking to understand and optimize the interplay between human operators, equipment, and AI agents. Apply continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to streamline workflows and enhance system performance. Project Management & Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to gather requirements, share progress, and align on solution design. Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to maintain code quality and facilitate collaborative development. Adapt quickly to evolving project needs, learning new technologies and methodologies as required. Research & Reporting: Conduct independent research to explore cutting-edge tools, frameworks, and best practices relevant to multi-agent workflows. Generate clear, comprehensive reports and documentation on findings, progress, and recommendations.
