Position: Full-Time, Direct Hire

\r\n\r\n

As a Lead Multi-Axis Machinist, you'll:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMentor and Lead: Train and develop machinists/operators, ensuring thorough cross-training on operations, set-ups, and procedures.\r\n\tExpertise in Precision: Serve as the go-to machinist for high-risk aerospace machining, handling tight tolerances with skill and precision.\r\n\tDrive Quality and Efficiency: Manage daily production needs while upholding safety, quality, and productivity standards. Support the team with 1st Article runs and inspections using aerospace-grade materials.\r\n\tAdvanced Programming: Provide crucial programming support in Esprit, and work with multi-spindle, multi-turret CNC machines, and live tooling.\r\n\tInnovate and Improve: Lead process improvements, conduct efficiency studies, and assist in the design and development of new products, materials, and manufacturing processes.\r\n\tProblem Solving: Create corrective action plans for quality spills and address knowledge gaps within assigned cells.\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat We're Looking For:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tIndustry Expertise: A strong background in the aerospace industry is essential.\r\n\tMulti-Axis Machining: 5+ years of experience with Mill (5-axis), Lathe (Mill/turn), EDM, and/or Swiss machines.\r\n\tLathe CNC Mastery: Expertise in Lathe CNC setup and machining, requiring minimal supervision.\r\n\tTechnical Know-How: Proficient in blueprint reading, GD&T, SPC, and mechanical inspection methods.\r\n\r\n\r\n
