JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician A will perform duties to install and maintain production machines and equipment 1st shift: M-F 7a-3p overtime and weekends as needed HIRING NOW GREAT BENEFITS FULL TIME VETERANS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES * Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during service * Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines * Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments * Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities * Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as necessary * Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot and repair motor circuits, which includes simple electrical control circuits * Test electric motors for opens and shorts * Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties * Follow LOTO procedures for machines/equipment * Regular and timely attendance required * Notify supervision of needed repairs * Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping * Additional duties may be assigned by management JOB QUALIFICATIONS * Five years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience, including but not limited to: diagnosing and troubleshooting; preventative maintenance; lockout/tagout procedures. * PLC Troubleshooting experience * Multi-Craft Industrial experience: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic * Must have high school diploma or GED * Must have good working knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques, work order systems, equipment lubrication standards and industrial safety standards * Highly motivated and able to work independently PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand occasionally, walk frequently, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use telephone, speak and listen frequently.
