Principle Responsibilities + Efficiently repairs machinery through careful planning, exceptional detail to execution, and crucial intention of the machinery running more efficiently and reliably than before repair needs. + Proactively assess all machinery to determine repair needs before a breakdown occurs. + Provide experienced counsel during the troubleshooting process of repair. + Continuously determine the greatest opportunity for improving efficiencies and decreasing costs when deciding whether to repair machinery or purchase new equipment. + Collaborate with all areas of Operations and Warehouse to ensure the best priority and course of action is taken. + Continuously assess repair tooling and equipment to ensure excellent working conditions for maximum performance. + Proactively perform maintenance procedures to ensure the most efficient machinery operations and minimize the risk of failure. + Continuously assess existing preventative maintenance processes and procedures to find opportunities for improvement. + Provides expert Technical Support. + Additional duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Team Lead. + 2 Year College, Technical Certificate, or Trade School Degree. + Experience in the metal stamping and fabrication industry preferred. + Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. + Knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, power trains, metal forming and finishing equipment, E-coat paint equipment and procedures, and metal fabrication equipment are required. + Specific skills include basic computer skills, good coaching and feedback skills, and excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written).   + Willingness and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. + Must be willing to submit to a background check, employment verification, and drug screen.
