**Description:** Aerotek is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, cleaning, and inspecting equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors + Replace or repair worn or damaged parts, such as bearings, seals, and gaskets + Use precision measuring tools and testing equipment to diagnose and repair complex problems + Collaborate with production staff to identify and address equipment performance issues + Develop and implement maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment history + Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency + Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment usage **Additional Skills & Qualifications** - 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR completion of trades certificate or program - experience working on industrial equipment - some exposure to the following; electrical, mechanical, welding - PLC knowledge is a HIGH PLUS **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Edinburg,VA. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 17, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
