Description:
Aerotek is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment and machinery to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating, cleaning, and inspecting equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on industrial equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, and conveyorsReplace or repair worn or damaged parts, such as bearings, seals, and gasketsUse precision measuring tools and testing equipment to diagnose and repair complex problemsCollaborate with production staff to identify and address equipment performance issuesDevelop and implement maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtimeMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts usage, and equipment historyParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiencyComply with all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, and personal protective equipment usageAdditional Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR completion of trades certificate or program - experience working on industrial equipment - some exposure to the following; electrical, mechanical, welding - PLC knowledge is a HIGH PLUS
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00
