**Maintenance Electrician $33+**
**Job Description**
We are looking for experienced Maintenance Electricians to join our team. This is a 3-month contract to hire opportunity. You will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining all electrical and electronic equipment in our Bearing and Distribution plants.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect, repair, install, and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment.
+ Utilize computers, thermal imagery, electrical testing equipment, and other tools.
+ Work with materials such as lasers, visual inspection equipment, AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, and more.
+ Plan, detail, establish working procedures, and specify and order required materials.
+ Perform preventative and predictive maintenance.
+ Dismantle, inspect, repair, adjust, or replace faulty parts and wiring on motors, generators, and control panels.
+ Analyze electrical drawings and programs, make wiring or program revisions as needed.
+ Design conduit runs and fit piping systems.
+ Fabricate and assemble control panels, pushbutton stations, and junction boxes.
+ Inspect, clean, and repair high voltage transformers, switchgear, and substations.
+ Perform minor metal fabrication, pipefitting, and welding duties.
+ Keep work area clean and orderly.
**Essential Skills**
+ Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC troubleshooting experience
+ Machine controls
+ 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)
+ Own your own toolbox
+ Troubleshoot 24v DC & 480 volt electrical systems
+ Solid mechanical & electrical troubleshooting experience
+ Safety: Lockout/Tagout
+ Comfortable with climbing ladders & walking extensively
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with rigid conduit
+ Ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic prints or schematics
+ Comfortable working with computers, lasers, and vision systems
+ Fanuc Robot maintenance experience
+ Experience with Fanuc robotics, Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, conduit bending, lift operation, pneumatic & hydraulics

**Work Environment**
Our facility is large and, in some parts, a bit outdated. We have a strong presence in the automotive industry, specifically supporting GM. The maintenance department includes Electricians, Millwrights, Machine Repair Techs, Electrical Specialists, and Machinists. The facility operates with mostly reactive maintenance (80%) and some planned preventative maintenance (20%). While non-climate controlled, the plant features several large industrial fans.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bucyrus, Ohio.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $27.98 - $31.57/hr.
