Perform preventative maintenance and make repairs as needed to ensure continuous production. [[cust_safetyState]] Minimum Qualifications: + Experience in at least two maintenance trades. + Must be available to work either shifts and/or nights. Detailed Selection Criteria: + Safety - Dedicated to safety, good housekeeping, and continuous improvement + Mechanical Knowledge - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses or repairs and/or maintenance. + Maintenance Systems & Techniques - Knowledge of servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment. + Problem Solving - Identifying problems and analyzing or reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. + Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work - Developing specific goals and plans for prioritizing, organizing, and accomplishing individual work and/or the work of the team. + Teamwork - Working as part of a coordinated effort with others to achieve a common goal. + Initiative - Being proactive with seeking out work that needs to be done and being willing to take on responsibilities and challenges. + Environmental - Promotes environmental stewardship while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site through conformance with Nucor's environmental program. This includes reviewing and implementing environmental technical standards and policies. Preferred Qualifications: + 2-4 year degree in electrical, mechanical, welding or other maintenance trade. + Mobile equipment maintenance experience.
