Position: Multi-Drop Van Driver

Location: Elsmere Port Link Point

Working Pattern: Monday to Saturday (inclusive)

Hours: Between 6 AM and 6 PM

Contract: 48 hours per week

Salary: £34,045.44 per annum

Job Purpose:

As a Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of assembled products and invoices to our customers while adhering to corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and competent standard of driving, observing speed limits and traffic signs.Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness (lights, brakes, coolant, etc.).Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays promptly.Maintain the internal and external cleanliness of the vehicle.Ensure sufficient fuel for daily operations and secure the vehicle and its contents at all times.Verify all orders on the dropsheets and ensure they are loaded correctly.Collect goods returned for credit and ensure their safe return to the branch.Handle damages and breakages according to established procedures, especially for HazChems.Uphold a smart appearance and contribute to positive customer relations.Engage in additional warehouse tasks as directed by management.Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

Essential:Full driving license relevant to the vehicle being driven.Must be over 21 years of age for insurance reasons.Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).Strong customer care skills.Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable:Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving.Route planning experience.Additional Information:Manual handling tasks (lifting and bending) are essential to this role.We cannot make reasonable adjustments for applicants unable to perform manual handling duties.Maintain a smart appearance due to regular interaction with customers.Application Process:
