Perform a variety of financial tasks to include resource
controls, proposal preparation, and resource estimating
support for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program at its
Silverdale, Washington location. Offices are located in
Government-provided facilities aboard the Naval Submarine Base, Silverdale, Washington.
Resource controls duties include extracting, analyzing, and
compiling data for monthly variance reporting of contracts.
Schedule and cost variances must be identified and
explanations, both written and verbal, provided in accordance with strict deadlines. Participate in monthly meetings and present data to LM Senior Management.
Other duties include:
-Participation in weekly production scheduling meetings, direct interface with Management to ascertain variance cause, corrective action, and estimated recovery dates, maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track costs for cable fabrication, electronics package assembly and test, missile assembly and test, and many support areas.
-Work with various data systems to support contract proposals for new and existing efforts, and respond to numerous requests for cost estimates.
-Assist Managers in development of staffing plans and forecasts, monitoring of weekly labor charges, and researching and preparing correction forms as required.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US citizenship required.
Basic Qualifications:
* Professional experience in Finance, Economics, or other related Business Management field.
* Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office applications
* Experience as a team member, working to achieve common goals and demonstrated initiative.
* Ability to work under pressure/deadlines and ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly.
Desired Skills:
* Knowledge/understanding of Earned Value Management
(EVM) concepts and requirements.
* Working knowledge of SAP and COBRA systems is a plus.
* Familiarization with Government defense contracting and acquisition.
* Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office applications,
particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
* Experience communicating across departments or levels of leadership. Strong analytical ability. Ability to generate high-quality, error free products.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $58,200 - $111,600. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
