Communicates with lead tech and radiologists for exam protocols. Maintains the integrity of and safety around magnetic fields. Call is required. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Performs MRI/ CT exams in a professional manner consistently producing high quality images. Maintains scheduled workload as accommodates any add on requests as needed. Prepares patients and rooms for exams as required. Ensures magnet safety protection for patients, co-workers, physicians, and visitors. Proficiently utilizes the Cerner, Radnet, scheduling, and Powerchart nodules for patient information entry/review. If not registered must be registered within 3 months of employment and maintain registration. BLS required within six months of employment. Previous MRI and CT training or MRI / CT experience required. Preferred experience in MRI Neurological, orthopedic, angiography and abdominal applications as well as CT. Good written and verbal skills. Typing and basic computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel experience required. Experience with PACS and radiology management systems required.
