Under the general guidance of the physicians/providers performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasound, echo and vascular procedures. Conducts patient education as necessary.
Reports to: Director of Imaging Services

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Licensure/Certification
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
ARRT(S) ARDMS, or equivalent certification
Minimum Education
Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
Minimum Work Experience
At least two years of previous experience in a Sonography, Echo, or Vascular role is strongly preferred.
Ability to accept on-call assignments for regularly scheduled shifts when acuity and/or census indicates need. Will be available to facility within 45 minutes of notification. This status will be determined by Department Director or Administrator on call.
