Multi-Outlet Food & Beverage Manager (Horseshoe Bossier) Full-Time

JOB SUMMARY: 

The multi-outlet Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for all front of house food & beverage operations.  Responsibilities include coaching and development of restaurant Supervisors. participating in Food and Beverage Staff meetings and ensuring the quality of service for, and satisfaction of, each guest. This role should demonstrate a team and sales mentally with focus on bettering service to guests.

DEMANDS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Set standards of product knowledge and skills of all staff for positions consistent with department’s mission and goal. Ensures that scheduling is completed and posted on time. Directs the development and administration of the controls for all phases of all outlets in an economical and profitable manner while maintaining established standards. Responsible for managing guest relations to always achieve the highest guest satisfaction. Assists in the maintenance and development of procedures for food service and present menu items for maximum customer satisfaction. Responsible for managing budget in staffing, supplies, etc. Supervises staff on shift and ensures proper staffing levels to provide high standard of service with minimum labor hours. Set par level for all service-related supplies; take weekly inventory, as well as maintaining a balanced par for such items. Completes regular Employee Evaluations and/or Performance Appraisals using data collected throughout the course of the year.  Responsible for checking on all service staff.  Verify all opening, closing, and running duties are completed to standards. Verify cash drops and cashier drawers. Making table visits to build relationships with guests to generate repeat business. Ensure that training schedules are completed correctly and timely.    Responsible for maintaining progressive disciplinary system in accord with Horseshoe Standards.      Coaching and counseling.      Serving as coach for special area(s) of each venue. Attend all required meetings, training sessions, special functions etc. and implementing any new programs, training methods, etc.  Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Horseshoe.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:   

High School diploma or equivalent required.  College degree preferred. Five years’ related job experience preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

Able to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform job. Available to work any shift, holidays, and weekends. Ability to tolerate cigarette/cigar smoke and e-cigarette vapor. Responds to visual and aural cues. Must be able sit and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to stoop, reach and bend as necessary.  Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guest demands in a fast-paced environment.  Must be able to tolerate areas containing, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust. Must be able to operate a computer like terminal. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies.
