Mitie are looking for an enthusiastic Multi Skilled Engineer - Climber to join their team in the London area.

You will be a Telecoms trained climber to fulfil the role within a Maintenance & Reactive team. Training can be provided for the right candidate but you must be able to climb & work at height.

 

What are the main duties for the Multi Skilled Engineer?

Perform reactive & fault rectification tasks as part of a climbing pair/team, but able to work alone if required.  Height and ground level works within the Telecoms site umbrella,  Perform planned maintenance work  Obtain materials and equipment to carry out work, Complete risk assessments for work on site and complete on site reports and assessments for site defects

 

What does our ideal candidate look like?

Individual must meet basic medical and fitness requirements, Ideally have experience, working within the mobile telecommunications industry, UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points is essential as driving is 50% of the role, Motivated, good attitude and happy to support the team.

 

Please Note:

Due the climbing requirement of the role, all employment is subject to passing a medical assessment that we will arrange in advance. 

Please note, all successful candidates, if not already qualified, will be put through training to reach an approved standard to work safely at height and/or on climbable structures.

Overtime weekend working may be required from time to time also which is remunerated accordingly. As part of a callout rota with additional remuneration also.
