This role is crucial for facilitating live and online branded events, hybrid presentations, and supporting podcast and video production teams. A blend of technical proficiency, creativity, and attention to detail is essential to deliver multimedia content to the highest standards.
Recording & Broadcasting
Set up and operate live stream and broadcast equipment, collaborating with production teams to deliver top-tier audiovisual experiences for both internal and external clients. Maintain broadcast and IT equipment within central and mobile production studios. Provide technical advice and expertise for live and video on-demand content. Troubleshoot technical issues during live events, minimizing disruptions and ensuring smooth delivery. Respond to service disruptions and work proactively to prevent future occurrences. Set up and operate audio equipment for online and live events.Production
Coordinate and assist in video and audio production projects, from pre-production planning to shooting and post-production editing, leading up to final distribution. Oversee the creation and delivery of hybrid presentations that combine live and digital elements. Evaluate and implement service improvement recommendations, identifying potential gaps and alternative solutions.Technical Operations
Demonstrate first-class knowledge in handling multimedia equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and editing software. Ensure all equipment is maintained and up to date. Implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance production quality and efficiency.Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with editorial, commercial marketing, and event teams to understand content requirements and deliver compelling multimedia solutions. Liaise with external vendors and partners as required. Provide expert input on projects requiring advanced broadcast solutions.This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of exciting projects, combining creative production with cutting-edge technical operations, all while contributing to Hearst’s audiovisual strategy.
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in video and audio production, preferably in a media or publishing environment Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines Proficiency and experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop Familiarity with ATEM Blackmagic Design video switchers Experience with a range of handheld, broadcast, and PTZ fixed rig cameras Proficiency in ingesting media on location Ability to craft and edit engaging social assets · Past experience working with high-profile talent and journalists
