What you will do:
Install, perform inspections, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various high and low voltage electric systems, Programmable Logic (PLC) control systems, and communications equipment.
Perform electrical and instrumentation tasks, i.e. verify/calibrate - pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, level transmitters, level switches, pressure switches, motor management relays, PLC troubleshooting, etc.
Responsible for the operations and maintenance of pipeline, auxiliary equipment, motors, pump stations, pumps, seals and other related equipment.
Perform Preventive Maintenance checks on pumps, motors and auxiliary equipment.
Perform/assist in mechanical repairs of valves, valve actuators, pump seals, and measurement equipment.
Be able to diagnose and repair mechanical motor parts, pumps, seals, valves and associated operations equipment at pump stations, terminals and pipelines.
Perform installation and mechanical/electrical maintenance on valve actuators.
Perform all tasks relating to line crossing: determine crossing location by using alignment sheets and drawings, contact foreign crosser/landowner as necessary to review crossing; use line locator to locate line, probe and stake line, monitor/inspect (oversee) actual line crossing and complete crossing report.
Will need to acquire some operations skills – including but not limited to ticketing, determining crude oil gravity, water and sediment in crude samples, receiving and launching pipeline scraper tools, locally proving PD meters, inspect facility valves, locally operate centrifugal pumps, operate pipeline facilities, inspect storage Tanks, Facility rain water management.
Oversee construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third party Contractors.
General House Keeping and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed.
Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork for compliance.
Maintain, adjust, make minor repairs, and operate equipment (e.g. tractor, skid steer, forklift, UTV, ATV, water pumps, air compressors, test equipment, vehicles, etc.)
Individual skills must meet DOT-mandated Operator Qualification standards which must be verified through performance testing.
Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of MS office, operating systems and company software)
Willing to travel to attend training or to assist other operating areas will be required at times.
Must be able and willing to work overtime when necessary and be in an on-call rotation to respond to operational upsets after hours.
Will need to acquire emergency response skills – HAZWOPER 40hr training, participate in tabletop drills, participate in boom deployments, etc.
Assist with line locating and damage prevention activities as needed.
Must reside within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.
Who You Are:
High School Diploma
4 years of direct relevant industry training and experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
Knowledge/Experience with pump station, terminal, and pipeline facilities.
4 or more years of electrical and mechanical experience
Electrical/Mechanical Technical Degree or Certificate

Physical Requirements
Include but are not limited to: Balancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 50 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.
