Find out more at AVEVA Careers (https://www.aveva.com/en/about/careers/) .** **For more information about our privacy policy and how to manage cookies, visit our** **Privacy Policy (https://www.aveva.com/content/dam/aveva/documents/recruitment/AVEVA-Recruitment-Candidate-Fair-Processing-Notice-2024.pdf)** **.** **The Job** This role is part of the AVEVA Marketing organization reporting to the Manager of Editorial within the Content Team. **Responsibilities** + Produce clear, well-written thought-leadership material such as journalistic-style articles for syndication and/or publication on the IL website that engage and inspire the target audience. + Collaborate closely with AVEVA Creative Services (design and video) to create fresh, exciting multimedia content that supports the aims of the IL program. + Find and conduct interviews with customers, academics, journalists, and thought leaders about topics relevant to the IL program. + Engage in independent research and information gathering. + Ensure content meets AVEVA’s brand and voice guidelines and standards and is in line with AVEVA’s corporate content themes. + Experiment with new storytelling vehicles and approaches to drive readership and engagement. + Understand the special requirements of each content type, such as SEO, information design for infographics, call to action for web and landing pages, email best practices, etc. + Additional skills and responsibilities include: promotion, pitching, editing, proofreading, fact-checking **Important Working Relationships** + The position collaborates with the content team, design, video, marketing ops, web, as well as industry principals and marketing management. + The position communicates with customers, journalists, freelancers, academics, etc. on an as-needed basis as part of content development (for example, interviewing industry leaders on thought leadership themes or customers for profiles). **Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum 3-5 years’ professional writing/editing experience, preferably on subjects related to software and industrial sectors. + Strong written and verbal communications skills, with excellent grammar, spelling and usage. + Proven ability to grasp technical and industrial concepts. + Interest in or experience with one or more of the following industries: chemicals, energy, power & utilities, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, transportation. + Experience and comfort with giving and receiving constructive editorial feedback to other writers as required. + Experience with multi-media content production (combining design, video, audio, etc.) Experience using Adobe software suite including Premiere, Audition, InDesign, or equivalent preferred. + Proven experience helping to build a new content program within a large organization. **AVEVA requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
