The right candidate for this position will be able to break local stories by cultivating sources and live the 10 On Your Side brand. The MMJ will contribute content to our website and social media platforms throughout the day. The ability to shoot and edit stories as a solo journalist is a plus.

Requirements & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field preferred2 + years MMJ experienceExcellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to ad lib when requiredSuperior on-air presenceProficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipmentAbility to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyValid driver’s license with a good driving recordFlexibility to work any shift including overnights and weekends
