The Multimedia Producer, reporting to the Associate Dean of Marketing, is a skilled storyteller who leverages photography and videography to craft compelling visual narratives that resonate with Miami Herbert's diverse audiences. This role extends beyond technical execution, requiring the ability to convey emotion, foster engagement, and create impact through thoughtfully crafted stories—whether capturing a single powerful image or producing a full-scale video. From concept development to post-production, the Multimedia Producer will shape visual content that brings Miami Herbert's brand, values, and objectives to life. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, this individual will ensure each piece aligns with the broader marketing strategy while captivating and inspiring the audience on both emotional and intellectual levels.
Department Specific Functions
Videography:
Conceptualizes and develops creative video ideas that align with Miami Herbert marketing objectives and engage the target audience.
Plans and organizes video shoots, including location scouting, talent casting, and equipment coordination, to ensure smooth production processes.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams such as marketing managers, designers, and copywriters to align video content with overall marketing campaigns and brand messaging.
Oversees the entire video production process, from script development and storyboarding to video shooting and post-production editing.
Utilizes video editing software to create visually stunning and impactful videos, incorporating graphics, animations, and other visual elements.
Ensures all video content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent brand identity across various platforms.
Photography:
Performs professional, original, and high-quality photography that is accurate, clear, and reproducible for various Miami Herbert events and projects.
Develops, plans, and organizes the overall technical photographic aspects of assignments.
Collaborates with Miami Herbert staff and departments to ensure photography meets the required substance and objectives.
Uses creativity and technical skills to implement photographic objectives within the capabilities and limitations of cameras and equipment.
Directs and stages photographic subjects as needed, ensuring the highest quality of visual content.
Maintains and ensures the optimal functionality of all photographic equipment, adhering to Miami Herbert policies and procedures.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain the optimal functionality of all multimedia equipment, including cameras, lighting, and editing software.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in photography and videography techniques and tools.
Adhere to Miami Herbert and unit-level policies and procedures, safeguarding Miami Herbert assets.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
Department Specific Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing:
Proficiency with the Adobe Suite (Premiere, Final Cut, Photoshop, etc)
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
A relevant combination of education and experience may be considered

Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with teams and clients.
