Job Summary/Description:

WVUE Fox 8/Gray Media New Orleans is seeking a self-motivated Multimedia Sales Manager to join our winning sales team. This position will lead, coach, and mentor our local sales team through the sales process with Fox 8, Gulf Coast Sports & Entertainment Network, Gray Digital Media NOLA, New Orleans Pelicans/Saints and Bounce TV. This position is responsible for achieving all sales revenue metrics while developing strong & lasting client relationships. The candidate must be a competitive and creative leader with the ability to create a winning culture.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Manage, direct, and train to maximize the performance of the local media executives and coordinators.
• Motivate the local sales team so that new business development, digital, and broadcast revenue goals are achieved by  utilizing and maximizing all station platforms including but not limited to broadcast, sports, digital, mobile, and sponsorships
• Assist Media Executives in conducting client needs analysis, presenting comprehensive marketing solutions, closing contracts, and execution of client campaigns.
• Develop sales presentations and collateral using up-to-date research materials.
• Take ownership of ongoing talent development for the local sales team, including recruitment.
• Ability to Negotiate media metrics, rates, and budgets.
• Oversee accounts receivable and credit policies.
• Maintain professional working relationships with our clients.
• Interface with operational systems such as Wide Orbit, Matrix, Comscore/Nielsen, Google Analytics, etc.
• Assist in the management of broadcast and digital inventory.
• Working at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in digital advertising with Media Consultants and advertisers.
• Accurately forecast sales revenue for your team weekly.
• Work in tandem with the Director of Sales and sales management team on revenue development strategy, forecasting execution, and delivery of objectives.
• Drive revenue growth and ensure goals are met or exceeded, with a focus on new local direct business and digital revenue growth.
• Produce results and execute tasks efficiently and effectively while making the best use of resources.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years background in Digital and Broadcast Advertising Sales with prior Sales Management experience.
• Knowledge of digital solutions that span a wide array of digital products including paid search, targeted video/display, streaming/connected TV, targeted email, digital audio, SEO/SEM, PPC, and more.
• Proven leader with the ability to think ahead and put into place action items.
• Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, written, and presentation skills.
• High-level proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record, MVR check required at hire and monitored continuously
