How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Delta Global Sales team is hiring a Multinational Account Manager to join the LAX team! Delta Air Lines is the largest carrier at LAX and the most-preferred airline of Hollywood and the entertainment industry. In keeping with our commitment to excellence and focus on the LA Market, we've recently completed a full renovation of our airport facilities, featuring industry-leading premium lounge offerings. Together with our JV partner airlines, Delta is committed to continuing to deliver on the needs of our customers. The Multinational Account Manager-LAX will manage a portfolio of accounts in the Southern California area and will report to the General Manager, Global Sales. The Multinational Account Manager (MNA Manager) is responsible for maximizing revenues and market share focusing on premium revenue with Delta's contracted customers. Primary responsibilities include: + Build, maintain, and manage relationships, contractnegotiation, implementation, performance evaluation, and maintenance ofagreements across key customer contacts. + Prospect and develop new business opportunities within theassigned market. + Serve as the matrix sales leader responsible for developinga high growth city sales strategy, monitoring and communicating performanceupdates, and leading sales efforts to maximize global revenues viacollaboration with internal departments to drive Delta’s success. A key driver for market performance will be the collaboration across a variety of field sales teams and the coordination of sales tactics to drive premium revenue to Delta. The position’s commercial objectives include achieving corporate goals at a portfolio and city level, growing SME revenue through local partnerships, improving market profitability, driving loyalty through SkyMiles and cobrand card sign-ups and engaging the community through local activations. The MNA Manager is responsible for orchestrating team selling with internal sales departments including Sales Development, Revenue Management, Sales Operations, Market Development, Coastal Hub Performance & Planning, as well as U.S. based and international based DL, JV and SkyTeam partners. Must reside in the Los Angeles market. Pay range: $80500.00 - $218900.00 annually What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Minimum of 4 years sales and account management experienceis required. + Demonstrated success in consultative account management andunderstanding of how to create and maintain profitable business relationshipswith assigned accounts and contacts. + Candidate must have a demonstrated track record of havingmanaged a successful sales portfolio which included contracts with global scope + Strong negotiation skills, planning/organizational skillsand excellent communication and presentation skills (both oral and written) arerequired. + Proven analytical skills and ability to produce action plansbased on data and market intelligence. + Demonstrated success with new business development,including creating partnerships. + Must have a strong professional demeanor, be able to workunder pressure, meet short deadlines, balance multiple and rapidly shiftingpriorities with little direct supervision. + Must have strong public speaking skills including experiencein making product presentations to decision makers and group forums. + Must have proven leadership skills among sales personnel. + Must have in-depth knowledge of internal platforms andMicrosoft Office products. + Must possess a current passport and have the ability andflexibility to travel and represent Delta at account meetings and industryfunctions both domestically and internationally. + Must be able and willing to establish a virtual office. + This position requires some night and weekend hours as wellas moderate travel. + Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operationalprocesses and procedures. + Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work inthe United States. + Qualified applications with an arrest or convictionrecord(s) will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los AngelesCounty Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. + Based on the position you are considered for, this may include a review forthe following but not limited to criminal, employment, residential and motorvehicle record history, license or credential verification, drug testing,reference checks, or medical examinations and SIDA eligibility as defined inaccordance with 49 CFR 1544.229.
