CBC/Radio-Canada’s Media Solutions group is looking for a Multiplatform Project Manager, Media Creativity. Reporting to the Manager, Project Management and Operations, Media Creativity, you are responsible for activating and ensuring the quality of multiplatform advertising campaigns sold to clients.
Throughout campaign delivery, you strive to understand business needs and provide clients with strategic advice. You maintain client trust by efficiently responding to requests and pitching creative solutions tailored to the needs and circumstances of the assignment so that approved objectives are met.
On a daily basis, you supervise the rollout of ad campaigns under your responsibility. You help with pre-sales feasibility studies and develop the overall project timeline. You are responsible for coordinating the delivery of client activation components across all platforms. You provide guidance to clients, in-house teams and suppliers throughout the production, approval, delivery and optimization process.
You are highly familiar with video production. You participate in commercial production team briefings and guide clients through the design, production and post-production phases. You request internal and external approvals (Programming, Schedule Camp; Broadcasting, Communications, Advertising Standards, ASC and ThinkTV) before delivering campaigns.
You act as a digital producer. You manage the production of microsites and promotional tools (banners, social posts) and provide cost estimates. You manage and brief external suppliers (writing, design, programming) and support clients in the approval process while also obtaining internal approvals (Communications, Programming, Advertising Standards). You deliver all campaign components and ensure quality control when campaigns go-live. You assist with the optimization process to gauge the performance of implemented solutions. You develop post-mortems and provide clients with campaign performance reports.
You co-ordinate the administration of client-sponsored contests. You draft rules and obtain the required approvals from Legal Services. You coordinate the production of promotional tools (TV and digital) and guide clients through the approval process.
You supervise product integration or placement initiatives. You develop briefings and follow up with clients and programming teams (or producers) to ensure that product integrations and placements are done correctly and achieve client goals.
In all circumstances, you serve as the client’s advocate with in-house teams and vice versa. You exercise good judgment and are able to negotiate with all stakeholders to find the best solution.
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
University degree in marketing communications or equivalent
Five (5) or more years’ experience performing related duties
Knowledge of the production process
Knowledge of television, digital and social platforms
Knowledge of and interest in the media industry
Knowledge of Radio-Canada programming
Knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive)
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent judgment, initiative and independence
Knack for identifying priorities and solutions
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Bilingualism (English and French)
