Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in municipal design, specifically in water and wastewater projects. This role involves reviewing design plans, performing quality assurance/quality control checks, and collaborating closely with the design team to ensure standards are met. The Engineer will also be responsible for recommending and documenting modifications to designs as needed.
ResponsibilitiesReview design plans and specifications.Perform QA/QC checks to ensure designs meet company standards.Interpret specifications and drawings.Recommend changes and document modifications.Work alongside the design team.Design for current Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects, as well as County and Municipal Water/Wastewater Projects.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.Experience in Municipal Design (Water/Wastewater Design, Watermains, Distribution Systems, Force main).Knowledge of QA/QC, water systems, wastewater systems, and water mains.Familiarity with EPANET.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-5 years of experience in related fields.Strong experience in Municipal Design is preferred, even without an engineering degree.Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based (90%), with occasional field visits for visual inspections. We advocate for work-life balance and offer a flexible working schedule. Direct PTO is based on industry tenure, and we provide 8 paid holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Day After Thanksgiving (4 hours), Christmas Eve (4 hours), and Christmas Day. If applicable, there is also reimbursement for relevant expenses.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.73 - $42.30
