Job Summary:
The Role:
Maintain the safety and security of all staff, artists, vendors and guests. Create and maintain a positive and uplifting experience for diverse groups of individuals.
Responsibilities:
Ensure guest safety through proactive personal interaction and removing hazards in the area of responsibilityPrevent and resolve altercations among guestsLead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures and provide assistanceMaintain control by circulating through your work area throughout the shiftCheck identification of any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age who is drinking alcoholic beverages inside the venueEnsure that no weapons or harmful items enter the venue by inspecting every guest with a metal detector or pat-down searchEnforce House policy regarding photos/videos/recording devicesSafeguard against theft and property damageCommunicate clearly using radios, hand signals and flashlights. Remain in constant contact throughout the shiftSet up area before opening (stanchions, table configuring, etc.)Keep interior and exterior of the venue clear and safe, cleaning spills and removing food, trash or other obstacles, before, during and after the shiftAttend pre-shift meeting conducted by Manager on Duty prior to start of each shift

Ability to work late hoursFlexible scheduleExperience interacting with people in a positive environmentRead, write and speak English fluentlyMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesTolerance of all cultures, music and art formsPreferred:
Bi-lingualCash handling experienceExperience recognizing valid ID’sExperience in a live music environmentSelf-defense trainingExperience using metal detection equipmentEMT or other medical backgroundPhysical Demands/Working Environment:
Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressfulPosition requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet both indoors and outdoorsMust be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniquesApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
