As a Music Therapist you will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing music therapy as individual and group sessions as a formal intervention to address physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of patients ages 3-18. As a Recreational Therapist you will have the same responsibilities just with a variety of other activities not necessary in the realm of music. This position is part of an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatry, psychotherapists, recreational therapist, art therapists, and other program staff. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

Music Therapist Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy. Completion and passing of National Certification Exam (CBMT) credentials of MT-BC Music Therapy Board Certified within 6 months. 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents with various diagnoses and of diverse backgrounds preferred. Recreational Therapist Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Recreation Administration.
