NA Compliance Intern

Prysmian Group is looking to hire a talented individual to join us for a fixed-term internship and we offer the opportunity for current law students to build compliance skills, on the job training, and to have exposure to a well-known global organization. The NA Compliance Intern will support the daily operations of the NA Compliance Department and the NA Legal Department.
**Principal Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Assist with the execution of compliance plans/initiatives.
+ Assist in conducting compliance review on relevant procedures and documents.
+ Assist with training programs in connection with Compliance policies and other compliance matters.
+ Assist the Legal team with research and other support as assigned.
+ Conduct and complete other matters assigned by the Compliance supervisor.
**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Strong computer skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet searching and easy to adapt to other software applications entering data information
+ Strong communication skills both verbal and written
+ Strong research and analytical thinking, including the ability to work with data
+ Affinity for working with people in a team environment and professional demeanor
+ Willingness and ability to work in a multicultural environment
**Qualifications:**
+ Must have a bachelor degree from an accredited university
+ Must be enrolled in a JD or LLM program at an accredited law school; and completed, at minimum, 1 year of courses
+ Fluent in English (both verbal and written), additional languages is a plus
+ Interest in pursuing law or compliance as a career
**Work Environment/Physical Demands:**
+ Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available.
+ Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.
+ This role is not typically exposed to adverse environmental conditions, except excessive eye strain
+ When travel is necessary, will be exposed to typical travel environment and surroundings
