Job Summary
Regional role responsible for driving the execution plan determined by SIOP process, ensuring the supply chain capabilities are in place to meet business results.Responsibilities/Description
• Responsible for ensuring the supply chain capabilities are in place to meet the needs of the business in the region(0 – 12 months).
• Single face for SC planning organization to commercial organization in the Region.
• Driving supply chain performance targets in support of business and functional strategies(Core Values, Customer, Cost, Capital).
• Follow the business supply chain strategy to serve customers in the region.
• Understands the risks associated with the supply chain and current plans and their options and contingencies to mitigate them.
• Analyze and implement supply chain design optimization opportunities and recommend actions to the Business team.
• Identify opportunities to inject professional expertise into parts of the supply chain through Subject Matter Experts and fosters the network of key users
• Manage the activities, performance, development, and capabilities of the pool of Supply Chain Professionals.
• Driving process simplification and standardization
• Initiate and drive Lean/Six Sigma project activities in pursuit of supply chain improvement.
• Accountable for the integrity of data in applicable systems planning systems
• Manage (raw) material requirements, production asset schedules and finished goods distribution through agreed inventory plans.
• Execute order acceptance and handling policies that balance customer requirements with supply chain capabilities. Evaluate availability and policy exceptions in Decision Center environment.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for safety stock, lead time, MTO / MTS strategies, schedule changes and appropriate approval.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related fields.
• 7+ years experience in operations or supply chain roles
• Knowledge of MRP, materials management, production planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, master data required
• Excellent business English communication skills
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
• Analytical and quantitative skills
• Leadership skills
• Ability to lead change
• Ability to travel (15%)
Training / Certifications
• SAP, APO, MRP training on functional areas of expertise
• APICS Module I (Basics of Supply Chain Management) training
