NA Head of Claims Technology

Chubb is seeking an experienced leader to spearhead our North America Claims Technology organization. 

The NA Head of Claims Technology will partner with the NA Head of Claims and will work closely with the Global Claims CIO to define a technology strategy and related execution plans to support multiple transformation programs in NA Claims. 

The NA Head of Claims Technology will also be part of the NA Technology leadership team and will be responsible for the management of all the Information Technology related programs and activities (change, run, risk, and budget management) for the NA specific portfolio of programs and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Business engagement- Work closely with business and claims stakeholders to build alignment and define technology strategy, technology roadmap and execution plans. Communicate on a periodic basis, negotiate success, report progress, manage and resolve risks and issues. Program Management – Manage multiple, concurrent business transformation and technology programs and projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, meeting business expectations and quality standards. Ensure issues and risks are raised and managed in a timely manner. Ensure Chubb project management standards are observed. Software engineering - Manage development of multiple applications, adhering to Chubb’s architectural standards and system development frameworks (agile and waterfall).  Service and Risk management - Manage and report on service levels for multiple global, regional and local systems. Manage related ITIL processes (e.g. incident, problem, change management), Information Security processes (e.g. vulnerability management), and Risk Management processes (e.g. currency). Team Leadership - As a key member of the Global Claims Technology Leadership team, lead and motivate diverse, distributed Chubb and partner teams. Own the talent agenda (acquisition, retention) for the Operation and Claims technology function. 10-15 years of demonstrated experience in developing and running enterprise scale software platforms, out of which 5-10 years in a technology leadership role in a regulated industry5-10 years of leading or being a key leader in digital transformation programs, ideally in Financial Services Experience in Claims insurance domain would be idealExperience with standard Project Management frameworks (e.g. PMP)Experience with Agile development methods and toolsExperience with implementing and operating within ITIL aligned service management frameworksBachelor’s degree

The pay range for the role is $315,000 to $345,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.  Chubb offers a comprehensive benefits package, more details on which can be found on our careers website.  The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
