Pay: $90,000-$95,000 Per Year + Annual Bonus Opportunity
Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our team of Staff Accountants in the North American Accounting Center (NAAC). This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team's work, ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of our financial reporting. As a Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining strong internal controls and adhering to GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision to a team of Staff Accountants, including assigning tasks, reviewing work, and providing performance feedback.Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment for the accounting team.Coach and mentor Staff Accountants, helping them develop their technical skills and knowledge.Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures, internal controls, and GAAP/IFRS.Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all tasks.Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial records.Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and tax.Manage and prioritize workload for the team.Stay up-to-date on accounting best practices and new regulations.Participate in internal and external audits.Contribute to continuous improvement of the accounting department's processes.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory accounting roleProven experience in leading and motivating a teamStrong understanding of full-cycle accounting principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in accounting software like SAP and Hyperion (Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus)Strong Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs, and macros)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesHighly organized and detail-orientedAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesMust be eligible to work in the United StatesWhat We Offer Service Experts Employees:
