Government and Education

The Cloud Accelerate Team (CAT) is a dedicated team passionate about the success of cloud renewals, expansions, consumption growth and conversions of annual cloud contracts with government and education customers. The Cloud Accelerate Team owns the process from quote to booking with support from Cloud Platform Rep (CPR) team, business and finance teams as well as engineering organization. The team is measured on customer retention, consumption and expansions. The team will get along with existing cloud customers, understand their business, become their trusted advisor, and help them grow their current cloud footprint and drive new cloud workloads.

Description

As a CAT representative you will sell cloud subscriptions and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. You are responsible for developing account penetration strategies, managing the customer relationship, identify new expansion opportunities, and consumption growth. You are encouraged to work as a team member to support the customer in all aspects Cloud. 

Specific Responsibilities and Desired Qualifications

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and mentorship in understanding company policies and procedures.  Works under close supervision and seeks intervention from their manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines.  Two or more years of high tech sales experience, and the ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and zoom with high level decision makers.  Ability to work independently and detail oriented.  Typically bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Business or Computer Science or equivalent.
