Join Nokia as a NAM IP Network Automation Consulting Engineer and play a leading role in our pre-sales organization! You'll work closely with our sales and account teams, providing technical consulting and business development expertise throughout the sales lifecycle of our network automation products and services. This includes designing custom and standard solutions using Nokia software, contributing to pricing strategies, and ensuring a smooth handoff to post-sales for deployment. You'll consult with CSPs and enterprises on deploying and integrating our Nokia Network Services Platform (NSP), helping them manage, control, and automate their IP and IP-Optical networks. You'll also track sales opportunities, collaborate with regional PLM representatives to shape our product roadmap, and engage directly with clients through presentations, demos, and training – both remotely and on-site. You have.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or closely related technical fields. Post-graduate degree/work in a secondary business discipline is desirable.5 years of progressively responsible experience as an IP Network Management focused Consulting Engineer, field engineer, systems engineer, sales engineer, consulting systems engineer, technical marketing engineer, or closely related fields.5 years of experience in Network Management and IP Automation products with a heavy preference toward Nokia NSP/5620 SAM in the management of IP routing and related technologies, i.e. SNMP, NETCONF/YANG. 2 years of experience working with high and low-level designs/solutions in IP Network Management, preparation and execution of customer trials and proof-of-concept tests, feature planning, network architecture design, OSS/BSS integration design, platform resource planning, and creation of device/service configurations.

Experience working in network management of the following Nokia products, or earlier versions of these products: NSP, 7950 XRS, 7750 SR, 7210 SAS, 7705 SAR and MPR 9500, or any of our direct competitors’ (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) similar competitive products.Preferred experience with development and/or API integration via REST, RESTCONF/YANG, Kafka, NetConf, SOAP/XML, YAML, YAQL, Javascript, and open-source libraries and toolkits for network automationFamiliarity with IP Routing technologies, including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, VPLS, VXLAN, VLAN, Segment Routing, Switching/Bridging is highly desirable. This role involves pre-sales and post-sales activities.You will demonstrate product capabilities, deliver customer training, and lead pre-sales activities (including RFP responses and solution definition).You will engage with customers at all levels, translating technical capabilities into business value and aligning with their strategic objectives.You will provide technical consulting on automating transport network management using Nokia's IP and IP-Optical Automation products across various network architectures (including data center, mobile backhaul, and NFV/SDN).You will become a subject matter expert on Nokia's IP/Optical Network products (e.g., 7950 XRS, 7750 SR, etc.) and emerging technologies (e.g., ZR, ZR+ Optics).You will collaborate with internal teams (Product Development, Sales, Professional Services) and ensure consistent customer communication.50% travel is required.
