We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive to accelerate the adoption of MuleSoft within the public sector, driving sales growth and building lasting relationships with government customers across Norway & Iceland. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the government sector to lead all aspects of the sales process—from strategic account planning and lead qualification to negotiation and closing—while developing long-term partnerships with key stakeholders. We are looking for an outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Account Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit. It is critical that you can demonstrate that you can work in a cross functional selling team and team-sales environment, whilst also being responsible for managing your own territory.

Your responsibilities:

Creating and implementing effective territory and account plans for your region and customer baseDeveloping a deep understanding of Government and Public Sector customersPositioning MuleSoft's unique capabilities to address the specific needs of government entities and help organisations change and innovate faster by making it easy to connect the world’s applications, data, and devices.Meeting and exceeding sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing salesCo-selling effectively with Salesforce Cloud Sales Executives and other cross-functional teams to maximise MuleSoft's impact within government accounts.Nurturing and expanding relationships with public sector accounts by building trust and deeply understanding their unique challengesEffectively communicating with leadership, customers, partners, and extended teams to ensure alignment with public sector needs.Participating in team-building and company-growth activities, such as strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts, and volunteering.


Required Qualifications:

5+ years Consultative selling experienceLikes to build new business, entrepreneurial spirit and grow existing businessFluency in Norwegian and English. Interacting with customers in a clear, concise, and timely manner using a variety of communication methods (writing, speech, presentation) and tools (whiteboarding, Google Slides, Zoom).A results-driven mindset, with a passion for achieving goals.Capability and enthusiasm to identify customer needs and delivering effective solutions.Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.A deep interest in increasing customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships.
