Summary

The Named Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of OneStream’s products and services, within a defined territory, providing both new business and account management, ensuring continued growth through add-on sales to existing customers. The Named Account Manager should be flexible, goal-oriented and have a strong knowledge of enterprise application sales best practices. The Territory will be named accounts based in Eastern Australian states and New Zealand. The Named Account Manager is a high impact role to drive significant revenue growth in a key region.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to maximise market potential, identifying key targets and growth opportunities across Eastern Australia and New Zealand. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, ensuring strong pipeline management and forecast accuracy. Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to refine pricing, terms, and value propositions. Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with Enterprise-level client accounts as well as maintain existing account relationships to drive upsell, cross sell and renewal opportunities. Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Research and engage with potential clients, leveraging industry contacts and existing relationships to build pipeline. Position yourself as a trusted advisor, delivering compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases that align with customer goals. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen brand awareness and market credibility. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, product, and customer success) to enhance the sales process and customer experience. Stay ahead of industry trends and become a subject matter expert on OneStream’s products and services, ensuring customers receive best-in-class solutions.

 

Required Education and Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior sales representative or a related occupation specifically in B2B selling across Enterprise level. Proven success in enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sales ideally within the CPM/EPM/Financial Management Software or Analytics Industry with a track record of exceeding targets. Strong ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage with executive-level decision-makers. Experience managing large, high-value accounts with a consultative sales approach. Based in Eastern Australia (NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT) or New Zealand, with the ability to travel as needed. Exceptional oral and written comprehension, communication and presentation skills. Knowledge and experience with marketing/sales strategy and tactics. Experience with MS Office, as well as CRM software and other analytical or project management tools. Goal-oriented, adaptable, and driven to deliver outstanding results. University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (specialization in sales is preferred).
